Emergency Room Volunteer Training
You are the soul of the medical center
Volunteers in our Emergency Department provide non-clinical assistance to patients and their families in the waiting room and in treatment areas. Duties include comforting families, providing patient advocacy, making up gurneys, restocking supply carts, etc.
A free training class is offered, and we require a 100-hour volunteer commitment. To reserve your space, please email Grace D'Anca in the Volunteer Department at dancag@sutterhealth.org (NOTE UPDATED E-MAIL ADDRESS). If you need to cancel, please call the Volunteer Department at (415) 641-6490.
