My husband suffered a stroke on October 2008 while we were visiting in San Francisco from our home in Massachusetts. It was God and our good fortune that led us to doctors Tong, Rose and Barazangi. Their extraordinary experience and medical treatment saved Paul's life. Their unique compassion, on-going concern and availability saved our family and continues to support and instruct us on how to live well and positively with these changes to our lives. It has been nearly 18 months since my husband's stroke and although we have local doctors, specialists and therapists, we continue to turn to Dr. Tong and his group for consultation and support. We made this trip to San Francisco specifically for Paul to meet with Dr. Tong again. Their office staff, specifically Sonia, has been so thoughtful and sensitive to our situation and has simplified complicated arrangements. Thanks to doctor's expertise, empathy and kindness Paul continues his remarkable recovery and we, as his family have found the support and direction we need to recovery with him and to live well and happy. - Deb
